About Patrick O'Keefe
I'm a writer, web developer and entrepreneur and I've been professionally developing websites since 1998. I founded and own the iFroggy Network, a network of websites covering various interests, of which this site is part. I wrote the book "Managing Online Forums," a practical guide to managing online forums, communities and social spaces and I speak at conferences and events about online community, social media and more.
Besides YanksBlog.com, I also write for ManagingCommunities.com, and Bad Boy Blog, and I maintain a personal blog. You can follow me on Twitter @iFroggy.
I've been a Yankees fan since birth. Born in 1984, I've been following the Yankees at least somewhat closely since the mid 90s. When I really started paying attention was when Mike Gallego and Spike Owen were considered our double play combination. That would have been 1993 and, looking at the numbers, Pat Kelly got more time at second than Gallego. But, I found Gallego and Owen interesting for some reason, though I'm pretty sure I was partial to the combination of Gallego and Randy Velarde.
I count myself lucky to have been born a fan of a team with such a strong commitment to winning. And that's the perspective I write from. However, win or lose, I'll still be a Yankees fan.
I currently reside in Harbinger, North Carolina.
