12/22: Wang Gets 1-Year Deal, Avoids Arbitration
The Yankees announced through a
press release that they've given a one-year contract worth $5 million to Chien-Ming Wang, who had been eligible for arbitration. Wang, who's won 46 games over the past three seasons, will be making about one-third of what A.J. Burnett will make next season, who has totaled 38 wins in that same span.
